UFC 332 Main Event

Silva arrives in Salt Lake City looking like the division’s natural heir. The Brazilian has won 14 straight, gone 8-0 inside the Octagon, and defeated former champions Rose Namajunas, Alexa Grasso, and Jessica Andrade on her climb to the top. Wang has taken a faster, far less predictable road, rebounding from her first professional defeat with four straight wins before turning a late title opportunity into the biggest fight of her career.

This is not simply the polished favorite against a hopeful challenger. Wang is an accomplished kickboxer with genuine stopping power, and she already beat Valentina Shevchenko in their days in the striking world. Silva, however, is a fluid, high-volume problem who appears to add another layer every time she competes.

Does Silva complete her near-perfect rise and leave Utah wearing gold, or can Wang tear up the script and deliver one of the year’s biggest championship upsets? Let’s jump into my complete fight breakdown, UFC predictions, and Silva vs. Wang best bets to play at ibet.

Inside the Octagon UFC 332: Silva vs. Wang Prediction & Analysis

Silva’s Resume is Elite

After four years under the UFC banner, Brazil’s Natalia Silva has dominated her way to becoming the strawweight division’s No. 1 contender. Eight straight wins is one thing, but to claim victories over three former champions – Namajunas, Grasso, and Andrade – is proof that her position in the rankings is more than deserved.

So, when Valentina Shevchenko announced her injury, Silva rightfully got the opportunity to compete for the vacant strap this weekend as the champ respectfully vacated the belt instead of holding up the division. Now, replacement Cong Wang steps in to face Silva in a fight that almost feels like destiny for the Brazilian.

Wang Still Has A Lot to Prove

A 5-1 record with four consecutive wins: Is Cong Wang the most deserving fighter to face Silva for the vacant strap? It’s debatable, but her consistency and in-cage success since the start of last year have put her name on the map, despite the lack of proof she’s ready for the challenge.

The obvious argument is that Want previously defeated Shevchenko in kickboxing. But this is MMA, and as Gabriella Fernandes proved back in 2024, Wang cannot rely on striking to succeed in this sport, as her grappling will get tested at the top of this division.

We cannot take Wang’s four-fight win streak from her, but Silva has double that, and the level of competition hasn’t been close. So yes, the Chinese fighter still has a lot to prove, but she could certainly wipe away all doubt with a victory this weekend.

UFC 332 Silva vs. Wang Betting Picks

Silva Moneyline

There’s an apparent skill gap here, and if the game plan is on point, Silva will be forcing a grapple-fest with Wang, who simply cannot compete on the ground. It’s easy to forget how good Silva is on the ground because she’s been striking so much in recent bouts, but she’s a level above Fernandes, and all we know is how Wang handled that one.

Is there an argument that Wang is the better striker? Sure, but if so, there isn’t a skill gap like that of the grappling side. And even still, Silva’s striking is so technical that I’ve even given her a chance in that department too, albeit with less power and range.

With that said, I have to back the Silva money line here. It’s slightly juiced, sure, but she’s proven her worth against the elite, and too many questions remain about the one-dimensional fighter-striker in Wang.

Natalia Silva to Win at 1.44 [-220]

A Sprinkle on the Submission

If you’re hunting value, look no further than Silva to win by submission, currently at 10.00!! I know she hasn’t secured a submission or attempted a heap of grappling throughout her UFC tenure, but there’s no time like the present.

Silva and her team have to be watching Cong’s submission loss to Fernandes and salivating at this being part of the game plan, even if it’s plan B. In a five-round war, where BJJ is evidently one of Silva’s hidden attributes (7 submissions; wins outside the UFC), would you trust the former kickboxer not to look like a fish out of water on the ground once again?

I’m not advising anyone to put their entire bankroll on this, but a sprinkle at these undervalued odds of 10.00 is definitely worth a look.
