UFC Edmonton Best Bets: Analysis & Predictions

Our UFC Edmonton best bets focus on three full-card selections from Saturday’s return to Rogers Place.

Edmonton knows its way around a scrap, but this Saturday, we can leave the hockey sticks out of it.

The UFC returns to Rogers Place with a 13-fight card packed with Canadian talent, and Mike Malott has drawn the evening’s most dangerous welcome committee. Joaquin Buckley arrives looking to snap a two-fight skid, while Malott wants a fifth consecutive victory and a place inside the welterweight top 10.

The home support won’t stop there, either. Jasmine Jasudavicius faces Erin Blanchfield in a co-main event with flyweight title implications, while Marc-Andre Barriault meets Kyle Daukaus further down the lineup.

Of course, cheering for the home team and trusting them with your money are two different things. So, which Canadians can deliver, and which visitors might spoil the party? Let’s get into my UFC Edmonton full card best bets, fight analysis, and fight night predictions to play at ibet.

  • Bet on Kyle Daukaus to win at 1.48 odds at ibet.
  • Back Louis Jourdain to win at 1.55 at ibet.
  • Back the under 1 ½ rounds in the Galanti vs Leblanc bout at 1.51 at ibet.
  • Boost your bankroll with our UFC odds at ibet sportsbook.

UFC Edmonton Best Bets

Kyle Daukaus 1.48 (-3) vs. Marc-Andre Barriault 2.45 (+145)

Matchup Edge: Two OG middleweights, but one is clearly past his prime.

Let’s not beat around the bush, shall we… Marc-Andre Barriault’s 16-fight UFC tenure hasn’t been great (6-10 record), even at his best. In 2026, having lost 5 of his previous 6 appearances, it’s clear to see that his prime fighting days are over, and crafty veteran skills that we may have seen versus Bruno Silva won’t be enough to match a fellow, well-experienced opponent.

In-step Kyle Daukaus, who, definitely got outclassed during the UFC White House event versus Bo Nickal, but is just 33 years old with many more miles on the clock and a skill set that could arguably outclass Barriault in all areas.

Daukaus vs. Barriault Prediction

Since being cut from the UFC and returning, Daukaus’s reestablished success is hard to ignore. Before the Bo bout, he quickly dispatched Gerald Meerschaert and Michel Pereira, building a six-fight win streak. And sure, the win streak is over, but Barriault has more in common with GM3 and Pereira than he does with Bo; they’re all beyond their prime, and dare I say it… washed.

Am I completely on board with the return of Daukaus to the UFC octagon? Not really; he’s mid, at best. However, I see a significant grappling edge for the favorite, and that’s all I need to feel comfortable fading MAB’s consistent decline.

Daukaus vs. Barriault Best Bet: Daukaus to Win 1.48 [-208]

Louis Jourdain 1.55 (-182) vs. Timmy Cuamba 2.39 (+139)

Matchup Edge: A failing prospect meets a new one.

Following an impressive contract-earning fight on DWCS last year, Louis Jourdain makes his UFC debut behind a 9-3 pro record and a five-fight win streak. At 29 years old, he’s one of the more senior debutants, but being the brother of long-time octagon veteran Charles Jourdain can’t hurt when preparing for his big day.

Opposite Jourdain will be Timmy Cuamba, a fellow prospect, who already had the octagon experience in the bag. However, a 2-3 record since 2024 hasn’t inspired confidence in his skill set. Outside of his flying knee knockout over Roberto Romero, he hasn’t given us much to run home about. He’ll obviously have the UFC experience advantage here, but is that enough? I’m not so sure.

Jourdain vs. Cuamba Prediction

How this fight plays out will be crucial in the success rate of both men, and it just so happens that they both love to strike. That’s a huge advantage for Jourdain, IMO, whose professional boxing tenure could be a real problem for the dog.

Cuamba hasn’t been terrible, but he hasn’t been great either. I refuse to back him based on UFC experience alone, and considering he’s primarily a striker, he seems to get hit a lot more than he does the actual hitting.

Volume, power, and technical striking ability should all side with the debutant. He’s also fighting in his home of Canada, and with some brotherly advice from Charles, I don’t see Cuamba’s mediocre talent stopping him this weekend.

Jourdain vs. Cuamba Best Bet: Jourdain to Win 1.55 [-182]

Nick Galanti 1.12 (-833) vs. Julien Leblanc 5.35 (+435)

Matchup Edge: The biggest favorite on the fight card will dominate.

There isn’t much positivity to highlight regarding Julien Leblanc’s pro-MMA career. Every time the level of competition has risen (UFC debut & two LFA bouts), he’s lost, and as a Canadian, I see him as nothing more than local filler for the UFC this weekend.

Nick Galanti enters Edmonton as the biggest betting favorite not just because his opponent isn’t UFC-worthy but because he’s wrecked all but one of his opponents inside the distance during a current six-fight win streak. His DWCS showing back in August produced a 35-second knockout versus an opponent whose more impressive then Leblanc, so, what do we think is going to happen at Rogers Place this Saturday?

Galanti vs. Leblanc Prediction

Leblanc won’t stand a chance if Galanti decides to wrestle, but equally, I think the American’s power could be an issue if he decides to stand and bang. More importantly, the betting favorite has fought and defeated higher-level competition than Leblanc, proven his worth as a rising talent, and shouldn’t face any threats when he debuts this weekend.

Due to the juiced money line price, the under 1 ½ rounds will land as the final selection of our UFC Edmonton best bets. Galanti has finished 4 of his previous 6 inside rounds 1 or 2, and Leblanc’s round-one loss in his debut last time out suggests he isn’t trusted when legitimate skill gaps are present.

Galanti vs. Leblanc Best Bet: Under 1 ½ Rounds 1.51 [-196]
