Mansur Abdul-Malik 1.14 (-714) vs. Dustin Stoltzfus 4.90 (+390)
Matchup Edge: Two middleweight brutes that rarely go the distance meet on the UFC 330 main card.
Mansur Abdul-Malik (9-1-1) had the unbeaten record, a 100% finish rate, and the hype that was placing his trajectory as a potential future top-ranked middleweight. Then he met Yousri Belgaroui last time out, a fellow prospect who handed him his first career defeat and first-ever knockout earlier this year.
I wouldn’t place Abdul-Malik in an elite category, and honestly, his striking and grappling are quite average. However, pure athleticism has been a huge advantage for him thus far, and his weekend opponent might be the perfect bounce-back spot to allow his athletic prowess to shine.
Malik is the wrestler here, but one could argue that Dustin Stoltzfus is the superior grappler and striker in this bout. Unfortunately for him, speed and durability aren’t his strong points. Watching him struggle to match the speed of an aging Kelvin Gastelum was concerning, especially now that he’s faced with an athletic specimen.
Abdul-Malik vs. Stoltzfus Prediction
As you can probably tell, I’m leaning heavily toward an Abdul-Malik win here. With that said, while Abdul-Malik still presents a few questions on his overall ceiling, we already know Stoltzfus has crumpled to speed and power in the past to lose inside the distance, thus leading my attention to the under 2 ½ rounds.
I’m not a fan of moneyline juice, so the under 2 ½ rounds makes sense in this spot. All of Abdul-Malik’s wins have arrived via knockout or submission, while Stoltzfus has seen 6 of his 10 UFC bouts end inside the distance.
Abdul-Malik vs. Stoltzfus Best Bet: Under 2 ½ Rounds 1.61 [-164]
Edson Barboza 4.57 (+357) vs. Esteban Ribovics 1.16 (+2)
Matchup Edge: A legend close to retirement meets a rising talent who can remind us why the UFC signed him.
Edson Barboza’s kicks, highlight-reel knockouts, elite-level victories, and vicious striking speed placed him in an elite category once upon a time. Going the distance with Khabib? No problem… Knocking out Beneil Dariush and Dan Hooker? Light work. Sadly, it’s 2026, and those days are behind us, as the 40-year-old Brazilian is undoubtedly getting closer to the moment where he leaves his gloves in the middle of the octagon.
Esteban Ribovics (15-3) entered the UFC with a 10-0 record and a 100% finish rate. He’s a pressure striker with a relentless pace who has the ability to finish fights, despite that method of victory slowing down since his arrival to the big stage.
Barboza vs. Ribovics Prediction
Since we’ve witnessed his speed decline, knockout wins become non-existent, and a record that’s begun to show more losses than wins, I believe many of us have just been waiting for the moment when Barboza’s chin will leave the game completely. And in all fairness, he’s done well, with losses to Lerone Murphy and Drakkar Klose managing to go the distance.
Worryingly, that chin didn’t hold up in his last bout. Jalin Turner made quick work of Barboza, completing the round one stoppage. Combine this with more than 30 UFC appearances and decades of accumulated damage, and the aforementioned moment of us waiting for that lost durability is likely upon us.
Ribovics going the distance has evolved into his default outcome, but Barboza could very well be the perfect opponent to end that drought. With switching stances, nasty kicks, and constant pressure, he can confuse his slower, older opponent and force him onto the back foot where he’s uncomfortable.
Reminiscent of Elkins last week, this is a fade on age and durability. The younger, capable finisher in Ribovic has enough dangerous tools to finish the Brazilian legend. Whether it’s a TKO, straight knockout, or club and submission, I don’t expect the veteran to survive 15 minutes with this fierce striking young buck.
Barboza vs. Ribovics Best Bet: Ribovics by KO or Submission 1.51 [-196]
Chidi Njokuani 3.10 (+210) vs. Joel Alvarez 1.32 (-313)
Matchup Edge: Two welterweights. Two finishers. We expect violence.
At 37 years old behind a 5-5 UFC record, I’m unsure how much Chidi Njokuani (25-12) has left to offer the promotion. On paper, he’s 3-2 in his previous five bouts, but a closer look shows you that all three of those successes came against fighters that have since been cut from the UFC.
So, without a victory over an active ranked opponent since 2022, and with the age factor, Njokuani now must return on a two-fight losing streak against a violent finisher in Joel Alvarez.
Alvarez (23-4) suffered his first loss since Arman Tsarukyan in 2022 last time out. To his credit, Yaroslav Amosov is an elite talent, and it’s a defeat that’s much less concerning than his weekend opponent’s recent downfall. Moreover, prior to this, he was riding a four-fight win streak that boosted his promotional record to 8 wins behind a 90% finish rate.
Njokuani vs. Alvarez Prediction
Similar to our first UFC 330 prediction, the under feels more valuable than a slightly juiced moneyline. Obviously, Alvarez is the side; he has the grappling edge, a submission threat, and the offensive striking ability. He presents multiple paths to finishing this fight, and trust me, he’ll be hunting for it.
Yes, Alvarez is lean, but his aggressive nature points me to the under. He’s finished all but one of his 8 UFC wins inside the distance, and Njokuani hasn’t displayed the most trustworthy durability (3 losses ITD) during his UFC tenure.
I do believe we have a nice caveat too. Njokuani has legit power and should cause an upset; it’ll likely come via a counterpunch that catches Alvarez’s aggressive pressure off guard. Either way, this fight won’t see the judges and that is how we wrap up our UFC 330 best bets.
