Two title fights and 14 bouts to dissect? There goes my quiet Saturday. That sets the stage for our UFC 333 best bets.
UFC 333 brings the Octagon back to Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Arena, where Alexander Volkanovski has drawn a fight that makes defending a championship look thoroughly exhausting. Undefeated challenger Movsar Evloev wants to wrestle the featherweight belt away from the Australian, while Petr Yan and Merab Dvalishvili settle their bantamweight rivalry in a championship trilogy bout.
That alone would keep the betting conversation busy, but there’s plenty worth our attention before the gold comes out. Dominick Reyes meets Azamat Murzakanov, Alexander Volkov faces Rizvan Kuniev, and Aaron Pico vs Losene Keita looks capable of making anyone who skips the main-card opener regret it.
With established names, unbeaten contenders, and some tightly priced matchups to untangle, I’ve got plenty of work to do before trusting this weekend’s UFC odds. Let’s get into my UFC 333 full card best bets, fight analysis, and fight night predictions to play at ibet.
- Bet on Alexander Volkov to win at 1.76 odds at ibet.
- Back Losene Keita to defeat Pico as the underdog (2.05 odds) at ibet.
- Our final best bet is Azamat Murzakanov to win by KO/Dec at 1.48 at ibet.

UFC 333 Best Bets
Alexander Volkov 1.76 (-132) vs. Rizvan Kuniev 1.94 (-106)
Matchup Edge: Russia vs. Russia? We can’t ignore the big man.
Nineteen UFC fights later, with a 40-11 pro record and 14 UFC wins, 37-year-old Alexander Volkov should be competing for the UFC heavyweight title, but instead he’s been given yet another up-and-coming savage.
And look, it’s understandable… the UFC loves violence, and Volkov’s decision-heavy approach doesn’t cater to this. However, with his only losses coming against the two most recent champs, Ciryl Gane and Tom Aspinall, and as the lone blemishes on his record for five years, we have to start giving him some respect.
Volkov has recently run through Waldo Cortes-Acosta and Jailton Almeida, two newer faces to the heavyweight division, and now the promotion is thanking him by presenting another prospect in Rizvan Kuniev.
Volkov vs. Kuniev Betting Prediction
I’ll put my hands up and admit that I’ve been a victim of fading Volk in the past, but as many bettors will know, it’s been a huge mistake. He may never hold UFC gold, or even get the chance at this point, but an inexperienced foe like Kuniev faces some legitimate hurdles.
Kuniev is a strong wrestler, and his knockout potential is live. But what evidence do we really have that he can execute his favored game plan against Volkov? Losing to Curtis Blaydes wasn’t the best UFC debut, and although back-to-back wins over Almeida and Tyrell Fortune put him back on track, his experience is still far from his Russian counterpart’s, so backing him with our money would be a hopeful prediction.
With a four-inch reach advantage and a difficult frame to control and take down, we could witness another Volkov straight-punch masterclass here. Kuniev needs to get on the inside, but Volkov has the perfect tools to prevent this, and that’s why he’s one of our first UFC 333 best bets.
Volkov vs. Kuniev Best Bet: Volkov to Win at 1.76 [-132]
Aaron Pico 1.68 (-147) vs. Losene Keita 2.05 (+105)
Matchup Edge: Fading the hype of Aaron Pico, because what has he done?
After years of hype and claims that he’s one of the greatest talents outside of the UFC, Aaron Pico made his UFC debut and was knocked out cold by Lerone Murphy inside the first round. And here I am, still trying to understand where the hype stemmed from in the first place…
Is Pico entertaining? Undoubtedly! Did he perform well enough to defeat Pitbull last time out and avenge his debut loss? Yes. Is he worthy of the hype due to a 12-4 Bellator record? No at all.
Pico wasn’t even flawless in Bellator, the B-tier MMA promotion that has never produced a championship-worthy contender for the UFC. Now he’s facing a short-notice replacement in Losene Keita, who, in my opinion, could arguably have a more impressive run outside the UFC as a former two-division OKTAGON champion with a 17-2 pro record.
Pico vs. Keita Betting Prediction
We watched Keita struggle in his UFC debut versus Nathaniel Wood. I haven’t forgotten. But a split decision, that could’ve gone either way, versus a UFC veteran, was hardly the worst outcome. Plus, he reminded us why we were so excited for his arrival when blitzing Naimov in the first round last month.
Now we’re looking at Pico, who loves a firefight. His style is built on chaos, and unless he completely changes his approach, he’ll be in trouble here. We cannot forget Pico’s solid wrestling background, but he also can’t help getting into scraps, and as an inside boxer, facing Keita’s power may trigger flashbacks to his UFC debut.
Pico doesn’t take well to punishment. Offensively, he’ll enjoy himself, but even in the Pitbull bout, we saw a man who doesn’t take incoming strikes kindly. Keita will have significantly more power; he’s a lot bigger and isn’t reaching his forties like Pitbull. Not forgetting, Pico’s lost four fights by knockout, three of which weren’t even at a UFC level!
“The Black Panther,” with equal aggression and more power than anyone Pico has faced, as an underdog? I’m sold!
Pico vs. Keita Best Bet: Keita to Win at 2.05 [+105]
Dominick Reyes 2.65 (+165) vs. Azamat Murzakanov 1.42 (-238)
Matchup Edge: Regaining aura from a long-time UFC vet.
Nobody expected a Paulo Costa knockout over Azamat Murzakanov at UFC 327. It was the latter’s first pro career loss, and the knockout came from an opponent who hadn’t finished a fight since 2018. Well, expect the unexpected, but this weekend, a return fight against Domnick Reyes feels significantly more doable for the Russian knockout artist.
At 37, Murzakanov isn’t a young buck, but his 6-0 UFC record before the Costa defeat still puts him in prospect territory. Most notably, 12 of his 16 pro career wins came by knockout, and while that wasn’t an issue for Costa, I’m not sure we can say the same for Reyes.
On paper, Reyes is 4-1 in his last five, and that isn’t bad. Look closer, however, and you’ll see a lot of chinny, has-been names that aren’t really impressive wins whatsoever. The one name who caused Reyes issues of late was Carlos Ulberg, who is also a heavy-hitting striker with legitimate finishing potential.
Reyes vs. Murzakanov Betting Prediction
The recent level of competition for Reyes just isn’t enough for me to forget his four UFC knockout losses. When fighting heavy-handed strikers, he often wilts, and with a striker versus striker style matchup likely to take place this weekend in Abu Dhabi, it’s difficult to ignore the Russian’s potential to get straight back on track following his first career loss.
Murzakanov generates power from the most unlikely of places; just ask Alexsandarr Rakic, who was finished by a jab. Reyes’ chin is still untrustworthy, despite his recent record, so I’ll happily take the juice on the Russian to win by KO or decision.
Reyes vs. Murzakanov Best Bet: Murzakanov by KO or Decision 1.48 [-208]
