World Cup 2022 Preview

The question still remains – who is going to win the World Cup 2022? Obviously, lots of teams have the potential to win it. Currently, Brazil and France are odds wise the biggest favorites. Let’s have a look at the teams!

Brazil

On the one hand, Brazil is the most successful nation in the history of the World Cup with six titles, and on the other hand, Brazil has been to every World Cup so far – the only nation ever to do so. That definitely says something about the team’s strength.

In addition, the current team is so strong that they are definitely one of the favorites for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

This was evident in the summer of 2021, when the Selecao reached the final of the Copa America – the South American equivalent of the European Championship – where they narrowly lost to Argentina in the final.

France

Similar to Brazil they have an immense depth player-wise. First and foremost in the offense with superstar Kylian Mbappe, who is one of the favorites for the World Cup top scorer, as well as Real Madrid player Karim Benzema. This is currently probably the best offense on the planet.

In addition, France has an almost insurmountable defense, starting with the defensive midfield of Pogba and Kanté and their defensive leader Raphael Varane. It is therefore a known fact that France is one of the big 2022 World Cup favorites for many soccer experts. So only one question remains: Can these great expectations be fulfilled? They basically had the same level of expectations before the EURO 2021 started – but they still couldn’t win the tournament in the end.

England

The same applies to the team of England. Obviously, they will strive to reach their goal and win the World Cup 2022. The last time they managed to achieve this was in 1966. A long time ago. The quality of their players is undisputed. Their team has the highest value – but that doesn’t have to necessarily mean anything.

Still, they are a team with a lot of potential and a good mix of talented youth and experienced veterans.

Spain

Our personal secret favorite is Spain for the World Cup Outright Winner. The team is super talented and young – with a lot of potentials.

At the last World Cup finals, the Furia Roja was eliminated by host Russia in a penalty shootout in the round of 16, and at the European Championship in 2021 it was all over in the semifinals against the eventual European champions Italy.

The European Championship already showed that Spain has a good chance of winning the title. And at the Winter World Cup in Qatar? One thing is for sure though – you will definitely find some more wm 2022 promotions from iBet, no matter which team you support!
